So what are the best article directories to use for your article submissions?  Im my previous blog post on article directories (Article Directories - Quality Over Quantity?), I put forward the theory that it is better to submit your articles to a handful of popular article directories, as opposed to dozens and dozens of directories, regardless of the amount of traffic they receive.  I listed the 6 different article directories which I use for my article submissions, based on the fact that they all receive medium to high traffic levels.

In this post, I will refine the list further based on my own article statistics, and suggest the top three article directories to use for your article submissions.  This top three list is for the 7 articles I have submitted so far, and is based on the total number of article views.

So, in reverse order, here are the top three article directories based on my own experiences:

No. 3 - Ezine Articles - 175 Article Views

Ezine Articles is a well established article directory, and has a really great control panel for you to view your article statistics when you log in.  A must when you’re considering which article directories to submit to.

No. 2 - Article Cube - 217 Article Views

Article Cube was the last article directory which I started using, but still has the second-highest viewer count for my articles.  This suggests that if I’d started using this article directory at the same time as the others, Article Cube may have came in at No. 1.  At the end of the day, make sure you’re using this article directory!

No. 1 - Article Dashboard - 297 Article Views

In at No. 1 is the article directory behemoth Article Dashboard!  My articles have received almost 300 views in total, which isn’t a bad statistic given the short amount of time my articles have been ‘live’.  An absolute must when you have articles you’d like to submit.

So there you have it, these are the best article directories to use, based on my traffic levels for my articles.  Of the six different article directories I use, these three account for around 75% of total article views, and should be the starting point for your article submissions.
